Organizing your Database

When COVID hit, I went back to basics and made the full switch to Command so I had to organize my database.

Every person in my database got a tag and a corresponding smart plan.

Here are the tags that I used to get things organized:

✔️ Long Term Nurture: People who had been through my 8x8s recently and I was in rapport with.

✔️ Reconnect: People who I had fallen out of rapport with and wanted to get reconnected with

✔️ Recapture: People I had a phone number and email address for but didn’t know who they were or wasn’t sure if they knew me as “their realtor”

✔️ Remarketing: People I only had an email address for

✔️ Realtors: Obv people who are realtors

✔️ Investors: People who have inquired about investing in real estate

Those are the main tags. I have layers to them but this is the foundation. Once you have this in order, the other tags are less overwhelming.

I have 10k contacts in my database and it took me 6 weeks to do this by doing like a few hundred every day. It definitely wasn’t fun but it has really helped in a lot of different ways.

Now I have about 300 long term nurture, 2500 recapture, 6000 Remarketing and about 1000 realtors.

This means I never get overwhelmed and everyone gets followed up with at the right time in the right way.
