CRM —> CONNECTION

At first, you might not need to outsource this unless you’re running ads or just getting a ton of organic leads. The metrics here to pay attention to are speed to lead and contacts to conversations. You should be looking at what percent of new contacts are turning into conversations.

CONNECTION —> CONSULT

This person acts like a relationship manager. While you should be nurturing your own leads, this person keeps your brand front and center with the personal touch. They nurture relationships with your referral partners and other vendors and focus on bringing in referrals and consultations. They make sure everyone is on the right smart plans and is being followed up with properly… but don’t forget that Gary says in SHIFT that lead gen is the absolute last thing you outsource. This is just the stuff between contact to consult.

CONSULT —> CONTRACT

My transaction coordinator helped closing the transaction but the stuff in between — scheduling showings, coordinating photographers, uploading listings, etc — was my biggest growth opportunity because I hated doing it. Jersey has shortened our consult to contract time, kept our clients happy and given me piece of mind.

CONTRACT —> CLOSE
